This Scenic Highway acts as a fantastic gateway to Clearwater from Tampa, across Old Tampa Bay. The causeway offers great views of the numerous parks along the shores of the bay and it feels like you are actually driving on the water. There are many great beaches and fishing spots along the scenic highway as well!

I travel this Scenic Highway several times each month. It is a wonderful experience at 7:30 in the morning. The birds that you see are amazing. There are times I wish I could just pull up on the side of the road and watch. Sometimes the water is so calm it looks like glass and other times when there’s a slight wind and the sun is shining it looks like diamonds glistening. I grew up in Florida and this is a spectular Scenic Highway.
