Heritage Crossroads was designated as the state’s first heritage highway. As much as I enjoy the history of the corridor I equally enjoy all of the mom and pop local resturants that serve as weigh stations for hungry and thirsty visitors to the corridor. Chicken Panrty, Bantom Chef, Red Gator and Thundergulch Saloon are just a few of the local cuisine “hot spots” along the corridor to get a good home cooked meal and a sweet tea. Enjoy the history but also enjoy the food. I know I do.
